Hello from FMP,

The ski season is behind us, summer is with us and our work goes on apace.

The three chalets in la Côte d’Aime now have roofs on, doors and windows will be in by end July, all well ahead of schedule. Work then starts on the exterior stone work.

These chalets have 3/4 bedrooms and should be ready for occupation Easter 2008. Making an offer on one of these chalets now would give you an opportunity to influence interior finishings and to choose whether you want the mezzanine floor converted to a fourth bedroom.

The picture top left shows an artist's impression of the chalets in la Côte d’Aime; the photo bottom left shows typical FMP exterior finishes that will be applied to la Côte d’Aime.

La Côte d’Aime is a tranquil village on the doorstep of the National Park of Beaufortin (see our Property Map page). On the South-facing side of the valley, it benefits from a unique microclimate known as the Versant de Soleil, making it almost Mediterranean in the summer.

La Côte d’Aime enjoys fabulous views towards the Peisey valley, Les Arcs and La Plagne. Nearest ski areas are Montchavin and la Plagne – Montchavin is 20-minutes drive.

Do take a look at our chalet video (link on picture to the right) for a sample of the standard of work and detail that goes into every FMP development, a striking signature for our Savoyard properties.

Plans for the four chalets in le Villard are up on the website now and foundations are due to start going in at the beginning of July. Masonry structures should be completed by this winter. Le Villard is scheduled to be ready for occupation summer 2009. Le Villard is just outside Sainte Foy, around 15-mins drive from Val d'Isère (Sainte Foy ski station 5-mins drive, Villaroger 5-mins drive).

Development continues with Montorlin Apartments: the roof should be on by this winter and readiness for occupation should be winter 2008. Montorlin is less than 5-minutes drive from Monthchavin.

The summer is an ideal time to come over and take a look at some of our current and completed developments.

Stay at an FMP catered chalet and sample what the Alps have to offer beyond the ski season: kayaking, hiking, biking, parapenting, climbing, whitewater rafting, golf, or just ambling about breathing in clean mountain air.

Chalet Merlo is hosting wine events, providing spa-retreat holidays and in July the Tour de France practically runs past the front door. Many of the villages in the Tarentaise Valley also have their traditional fêtes in the summer - an opportunity to take part in a wonderful community celebration.

We will be adding more photo galleries to the website, a summer activities information page and news of forthcoming community projects we are undertaking. We'll keep you posted.
