The mezzanine area can be converted to make a fourth bedroom and one garage could be converted to make a fifth bedroom (both bedrooms could have en-suite bathrooms). Work for these conversions would have to be agreed as an additional contract to the sale.

The development will be high specification, similar to Chalet Merlo (the total surface area of the chalet is also very similar to Chalet Merlo), using the optimum combination of traditional materials and modern building techniques:

  • The foundations, walls and floors are ferroconcrete; walls have thermal insulation; exterior walls of the chalet finished with traditional stone.
  • Roof is traditional timber structure with thermal insulation.

  • Recovered timber used in interior wherever possible, traditional Savoyard finishes for exterior wooden friezes and balconies.
  • Traditional wrought-iron features will be incorporated.

  • Any required shelving can be included and a fitted cupboard made from recovered timber is usually included in each room unless otherwise specified by the buyer.
  • Any additional bespoke furniture can be commissioned separately.
  • High-quality tiling for floors.
  • White goods - Villeroy and Bosch or similar, plumbing fixtures with Kugler mixer taps or similar.
  • Granite worktops in kitchen.
  • Underfloor heating (electrical).
  • Hot water - electrical cumulus 2 X 300 litres.
  • Mechanical double-flue ventilation of all humid rooms - this state of the art heat-exchange system can save up to 20% on heating.
  • Phone and TV connections in all non-humid rooms.

If a sale is agreed during the development process the buyer can influence the interior finishes.
