LYON, St Exupery (LYS)

From Lyon follow signs to Chambéry, Albertville, Moutiers, Bourg St Maurice, Séez and Val d’Isère. Should take about 2 hours.
Car hire - most major companies operate from Lyon. Book in advance or simply go to the car hire company cabins out in their car parks. There is a free bus from the terminal on the ground floor as indicated to “Car Hire”areas of Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt.
GENEVA (GVA)
Direct flights from most main UK airports with British Airways, Swissair and Air France; Easyjet from Bristol.
DIRECTIONS to Ste Foy
From Geneva airport follow signs to France (Chamonix & Mont Blanc), Grenoble, Annecy, Albertville, Moutiers, Tarentaise Valley, Bourg St Maurice, Séez and Val d’Isère. Should take about 2.5 - 3 hours.
Car hire - most major companies operate from Geneva. Always book in advance. The car hire desks of Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt (best choice of vehicles including 4x4s) are on the ground floor of the Swiss section of the airport by the entrance to the railway station.
CHAMBÉRY (CMF) Only open during the ski season

From Chambéry follow signs to Albertville, Moutiers, Tarentaise Valley, Bourg St Maurice, Séez and Val d’Isère.
Car Hire - Avis, Europcar, Hertz. As flights only operate during the ski season, the car rental offices are not permanently manned. Always contact the car hire companies direct by telephone or e-mail to ensure availability.
EUROSTAR (Bourg St Maurice)
During the ski season Eurostar operates via Paris Gare du Lyon to Bourg St Maurice on Fridays with return trains on Saturdays.
There is a Europcar office in Bourg (left out of the station and about 200m on the left). Always call to make a reservation and arrange collection of keys in the event your train is delayed, as the office is not staffed 24hrs (+33 4 79 04 04 20).
